I had a problem with my original deck with rot of the inner and outer Ledger boards and the railing were equally rotted out.  I called a lot of places and Dexteriors were the only ones that were prompt about giving me an estimate.  The price they gave me was a little higher than I expected, but they worked with a higher priced Trex product, that in the end exceeded my expectations.  They replaced all of the Ledger boards with pressure treated  wood. They also updated my stairway from the original 3’ to 5’ all with Trex  “Spiced Rum” as well as ran outer face of the Deck with the matching color Fascia around the perimeter. The also ran a border( Framing) with “Spiced Rum”  Trex around the existing composite decking boards that were a nice contrast.      There were a few minor blemishes, but then again, I am extremely fussy.  The three that ran things for Dexterior: Kevin, Matt and the Father, Brian, oversaw the project were all very nice and very accommodating of any of my concerns .  All the workers were talented and  very good at their craftsmanship.  Overall, my Deck looks great and will be having them back  to update my siding. Kevin and Matt made our backyard makeover a very enjoyable process.  From the beginning Kevin spent the time with my wife and I to turn our dreams and ideas into reality without completely blowing our budget.  He took the time, even when months had passed, to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted within the set budget.  Then Matt comes in to ensure the work is done with the quality, care and precision to make the dream a reality.  They all started to become like family.  We even had our tense moments like family do. Additionally, they were thorough in communications as they troubleshooted some unanticipated challenges and were flexible as the scope of the project changed. I inherited a house from my aunt (godmother). She wouldn’t leave despite the older house. The roof was recently replaced, but upon looking in her attic, I noticed several small leaks. I went on the roof and saw some shingles were cracked and dips in the roofing in multiple places. My foot would actually sink in those dips. Her contractors apparently didn’t do a good job (I won’t name names, but a bigger company). I called Dexteriors and someone was there the same day to take a look. The roof is now repaired. It looks great. No leaks, no dips, no more damage, no more headache. This is why I never go for the cheapest option. Thank you Dexteriors for your work. I wish everyone was like that.
