THE FAMILY
Dexteriors was established by Matthew and Kevin Gilmore after they learned the family construction business for over 20 years. The brothers, with their passion for carpentry, set out to solve a significant issue amongst home improvement professionals; poor customer experience. Inspired by their father, a skilled General Contractor, Matt Gilmore has gained over 15 years of experience making him a residential construction expert.
Kevin, meanwhile, spent years working in home remodeling before building a successful career in real estate and business development.
THE PURPOSE
Put simply, both as consumers and service providers, the Gilmore brothers became increasingly frustrated with the industry. Mainly, the lack of effective communication, inconsistent scheduling, and subpar installation techniques abundant amongst local service providers.
Recognizing these gaps, Dexteriors was born with the aim of addressing these issues. At the core of the business lies a strong focus on community, integrity and honesty Matt & Kevin learned growing up in Abington, PA. Additionally, Dexteriors not only possesses the necessary expertise to improve your home’s curb appeal but also implements efficient business systems and processes to enhance the overall customer experience. Most importantly, they’ll treat your home like their own!
THE DEXTERIORS TEAM
Matt has over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. In 2017, he started his own home remodeling company, serving Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Using his expertise, Matt chose to specialize in creating beautiful outdoor living spaces, inspired by his love for woodworking and nature.
Dexteriors was born when Matt noticed local service providers frequently failed to deliver on their promises and showed a lack of attention to detail. As a home improvement professional, Matt felt a strong drive to create a lasting legacy for his family in the communities he cares about as a
Kevin has lived his whole life in Montgomery and Bucks County, PA, and learned home remodeling through his family’s business, led by his father, Brian. With over a decade of experience in real estate, Kevin has a deep understanding of home value and improvements.
His expertise as a residential construction expert is key to the Dexterior Difference. Kevin uses his skills in business systems and technology to streamline sales and installations. As Vice President and Sales Director, his goal is to ensure satisfaction and improve the customer experience when building or replacing exterior components of a home.
Brian, with more than 35 years as a General Contractor, is a key figure at Dexteriors. He brings extensive knowledge in construction practices, township regulations, and the details needed to create dream outdoor spaces.
As Regional Project Manager and Quality Control Specialist, Brian ensures every decking project is in capable hands. From the first consultation to the final stages, he serves as your dedicated decking concierge, committed to your satisfaction. His experience in home improvement allows him to turn your vision into reality.
PROJECT MANAGER | ESTIMATOR
Rick is the skilled Installation Team Leader at Dexteriors. With a wealth of knowledge and dedication to craftsmanship, he consistently delivers top-quality results.
Rick has over a decade of experience in home renovations, covering carpentry and project management. As our Project Manager, he oversees a team focused on precision and detail. You can trust your project will be handled with expertise under Rick’s leadership.
